About this tool
A free DNS lookup tool that queries live public DNS (Google and Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS) for any domain you enter. See A and AAAA addresses, MX mail servers, TXT records (SPF, verification, DKIM, DMARC), CNAME aliases and NS delegation — all in a single clean report with copy buttons.
Frequently asked questions
- Where does the DNS data come from?
- We query Google Public DNS (dns.google) over DNS-over-HTTPS. Results reflect the authoritative records visible to public resolvers.
- Why don't I see the record I just added?
- DNS changes take time to propagate. TTL values on your existing records determine how long resolvers cache the old answer — usually minutes to a few hours.
- Why are some TXT records split into chunks?
- DNS TXT strings are limited to 255 characters, so long records (like DKIM keys) are split. We concatenate them for display.
- Is my query private?
- The domain you type is sent to our edge function and then to Google DNS. We don't log queries; Google publishes its own privacy policy.
