Drop in the XML (or .xml.gz) report you received from Google, Microsoft, Yahoo or another mailbox provider — we parse it entirely in your browser and show the reporting organisation, date range, and every source IP with its SPF, DKIM and DMARC pass/fail counts, disposition and alignment status.
How to use the Free DMARC Report Analyzer
- Save the DMARC aggregate report attachment from your rua= mailbox (XML or .xml.gz).
- Drop the file into the analyzer, or paste the raw XML.
- Review the reporting org, date window and per-source-IP rows.
- Investigate any IP with fails or misaligned SPF/DKIM to tighten your policy safely.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my report uploaded anywhere?
- No. Parsing runs entirely in your browser — the XML never leaves your device. Gzip files are decompressed locally via the native DecompressionStream API.
- What file formats are supported?
- Raw XML, .xml.gz (native gzip decompression). If your provider ships .zip, extract it first with your OS's built-in archiver.
- What does 'aligned' mean?
- SPF/DKIM alignment means the authenticated domain matches the From: header domain (relaxed = organisational match, strict = exact). Alignment is what DMARC actually checks — a passing SPF against a different domain doesn't help.
- The counts look small — is that normal?
- Yes. DMARC reports are per receiver per day. Aggregate a week of reports to see the full picture, especially for domains with lower volume.
